Falstaff Brew Co.
EXTINCT RE-BRAND
Personal Concept Work
OVERVIEW
Falstaff got its name from the Shakespearean character of Sir John Falstaff. He represented the more positive social aspects of drinking, rather than the destructive consequences of over-consumption emphasized by prohibitionists. Sir John was a “man’s man” whose philosophy was to “eat drink & be merry”
Falstaff’s new brand flirts with the line between established and young. Keeping some of the old traits from the original Falstaff from 1903 but bringing it up to date with a look from the 21st century. Pushing the “manliness” that Falstaff once claimed to have even farther this time around—this beer was brewed exclusively, for the manliest of men.
